The Abbey Hotel is nestled in the heart of the Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with beautiful views of the stunning Tintern Abbey and the ever changing woodlands of the Wye Valley, offering the perfect back drop to your special day.
At The Abbey Hotel we are committed to offering first class service with that all important personal touch. During the planning of your wedding you will have the help of our wedding Co-ordinator to make sure your special day is filled with romance and delight, an extra events manager will help with the running of your day, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your unforgettable day.
We are fully licensed for wedding ceremonies as well as your wedding day celebrations. We can hold ceremonies within our wedding suites to cater from 20 to 120 guests, with Evening Celebrations as large as 220 guests. The Wye Valley suite has an abundance of character from beautiful Gothic arch ways to floor to ceiling windows, which overlook Tintern Abbey helping us to create an event as grand, intimate or romantic as you'd wish for.
On your wedding day;
Your guests will be greeted warmly and shown into your wedding suite. The registrar will marry you, within the romantic views of Tintern Abbey and the Wye Valley Woodland beyond.
The delicious wedding breakfast, made from locally sourced, and where possible, organic produce, is served upon crisp white clothed tables, laden with T-lights and petals to match the theme of your wedding. Your guests will toast you, with a glass of champagne.
The party starts and yourselves and your guests will celebrate your marriage in style, within our beautiful functions suites and Double tiered marquee.
You, the newly weds can elope to our luxurious four-poster suite, to sip your complimentary bottle of Champagne in the jacuzzi bath. Awaking in the morning as a married couple, to a fresh morning, over looking Tintern Abbey, to rejoin your guests for a delicious full Welsh Breakfast.
At The Abbey Hotel, we'll do everything we can to make sure your wedding day is as special and personal as possible. Which is why you won't find another wedding happening on your big day.
